Yoga day in June
Date: Saturday 18th June 2022 Dear Friends and Members
We welcome you to our next Seminar which is to he held on SATURDAY 18TH JUNE 2022 at our usual Venue Hanchurch Village Hall when we are privileged to have LIZ LARK as our tutor.
Liz kindly did a Zoom class for us in 2021 when we still could have no meeting due to the pandemic.
As an artist it brought Liz to yoga in 1990 as a creative, contemplative art form using the body as a tool- her focus in art being figurative drawing and clay sculpture (Liz can send images out if you are interested). Remember “The body is the Harp of your soul and it is yours to draw from its sweet music or confused sounds” (Kahlil Gibran) As a child Liz played basketball for England and the love of the physical led her into a more meaningful mind /body connection – YOGA.
Liz’s book Rainbow Bridge is a culmination of 25 years of teaching and sharing yoga, Hatha Yoga, with a passion for imagination and Yoga Nidra. The book will be on sale on the day at a cost of £10. For any further information regarding Liz’s background and yogic path please check out her web site.
